The five sections of the Hoi An Memories Show

Section 1: Life

The sprouts of life began a new land, the lives were born, gave out the first cry, and inaugurated a new age. This is also the origin of the story told by the millennial loom. The silk thread above, which originated with the first beats on the path of time with white ao dai, returns you with “Life.” You will have the big picture about life of Hoi An 3,000 years ago. You can witness how the town grew from a modest fisherman’s hut with his family, and how Hoi An bloomed from the Earth.

Section 2: The wedding

Based on the popular historical story of Princess Huyen Tran and King Che Man’s wedding in the past. This is an amazing performance against an atmosphere of ChamPa temples, dances, towers, and so on. You’ll feel as if you’ve been at a historic wedding. Cham costumes are extremely varied and luminous. And, of course, an elephant – the Cham culture’s symbol – must be present during a royal wedding.

Section 3: Ship and Sea

Reaching out to the sea, these brave sons of Hoi An with heroic blood are always ready to face the storm in order for the country to have a brighter future. Despite having to endure lots of challenges and difficulties, those boys always look forward with confidence because the welcoming glow of home is still burning in their hearts, the firelight that illuminates the way for them is the immortal love of the devoted and loyal Hoi An girls.This emotional story is performed by hundreds of professional dancers dressed in traditional, colorful costumes, rather than by words.

Section 4: Hoi An Trading Port

With the ocean as wide open as the people’s hearts, Hoi An has grown into a thriving port town with a diverse cultural identity from many countries. Traders from all over the world brought not just products but also the civilized ideals of all humanity, transforming Hoi An into a once bright and golden commercial port.

Section 5: The Ao Dai

Hoi An has gone through many ups and downs over the years,Hoi An is one of the rare cities that has managed to preserve practically everything from the past despite the ups and downs of history. It has retained the aspect of a peaceful, melodious, and lovely place that’s just as delicate as a Vietnamese girl’s Ao Dai. That beauty has survived time and space by becoming a national icon.The section concludes with an Ao Dai performance featuring many of Hoi An’s ancient structures. Until now, all of the treasures have been kept carefully.
